Meet the new V4 RTT Ladder Steps — the latest evolution of Vantura Outfitters’ padded ladder step system. V4 keeps the wide, cushioned step design of V3 while introducing extended rear Velcro fastening straps of approximately 20 cm, providing greater adjustment for a broader range of telescopic rooftop tent ladder rung profiles, including many newer wide-step designs.

Designed to turn narrow aluminium ladder rungs into wider, more comfortable stepping surfaces for adults, kids and pets.

Compatibility

V4’s longer rear fastening straps provide additional adjustment for wider and deeper telescopic rooftop tent ladder rungs.

Ladder dimensions and rung profiles vary between manufacturers. V4 is designed around Vantura Outfitters telescopic ladders and has been updated to improve compatibility with other common telescopic RTT ladder styles, but universal fitment cannot be guaranteed.

What’s different between V3 and V4?
V4 introduces extended rear Velcro fastening straps of approximately 20 cm, providing greater adjustment around wider and deeper ladder rung profiles. The core padded step design introduced with V3 remains.

Will V4 fit wide-step RTT ladders?
V4 was specifically updated to improve fitment on wider rung profiles. Because ladder dimensions vary between brands, universal compatibility cannot be guaranteed. If you’re unsure, send us your ladder measurements or a photo before ordering.

Will it stop my ladder from extending by itself?
V4 includes a 2 m stabilising strap to secure around the ladder when needed.

Is it a safety guard?
No — V4 is a removable comfort step accessory. It is not a rear guard or structural ladder modification.

Can I use it barefoot / for adults, kids or dogs?
Yes — the flat acrylic-reinforced padded steps provide a broader, more comfortable stepping surface.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full dollar.
