Vantura's roof racks are purpose-built to mount straight onto the rails of our 1.2 rooftop tents, turning the tent shell into a load carrier for the gear that doesn't fit inside the cab.
What they're built for
The Vantura Roof Racks are black aluminium cross bars designed specifically for our 1.2 Rooftop Tents. They're a straightforward way to add carrying capacity on top of the tent for:
- Surfboards or paddleboards
- Storage boxes
- Recovery tracks

- Hardware included: brackets, plastic end caps, and nuts and bolts to mount to the tent rail

How many do I need?
One pair (two bars) is enough for most setups — a board, a couple of storage boxes, or a set of recovery tracks strapped down securely. Some owners run up to three bars if they're regularly carrying longer or bulkier loads and want more support points along the length of the item.

These racks are designed to mount onto Vantura Outfitters rooftop tent rails specifically and won't retrofit other tent brands — the bracket spacing and rail profile are matched to our own hardshell design.

Will these racks fit a rooftop tent from another brand?
No — they're built to bolt onto Vantura Outfitters rooftop tent rails and aren't designed to retrofit other manufacturers' tents.
Can I run an awning bracket and a roof rack at the same time?
Yes, provided your mounting points don't clash — check your RTT L Support Brackets and awning bracket positions against where you're planning to mount the roof rack before drilling or bolting anything down.
What's the maximum load I can carry?
70kg total across the rack system. Always secure your load properly and check it before heading off — a set of Ratchet Rope Tie Downs makes quick, secure work of it.
Do I need one bar or two?
One pair covers most loads. Add a third bar if you're regularly carrying something long or heavy and want extra support along its length.
